CUSTOM MADE ( just tell us year make model 2dr 4dr sedan hardtop coupe etc ) w/ Lead time 2 wks. 1961-66 Ford Trucks & 1967-72 Chevy Trucks need modify the internal structure of the doors. NOTE: OTHER CO'S USE LAMI AND NOT TEMPERED GLASS- LAMI CRACKS !!! Made in the USA !!!

Tempered glass is a type of high strengthened safety glass processed by heat treatments to increase its strength over 5 times that of laminated glass. Tempering creates a glass, if broken, will crumble into small non-sharp granular pieces instead of splintering into jagged shards like required in all new cars (except the w/s). To temper glass requires machines that cost $5M or more.

Laminated glass is a type of non-strengthened safety glass that holds together if shattered (should only be used for windshields). If it breaks, it is held in place by an interlayer of thin clear plastic. The interlayer keeps the glass bonded when broken and produces a "spider web" cracking pattern. Laminated glass is much weaker and cracks very easily because it can't be tempered.

All side glass & back glass should be Tempered. Only windshields should be Laminated. Most shops only use Laminated glass because they don't have the Tempering Equipment We Do !!!
